National July 4th InterdepenDance Day Online Celebration! (And collaboration/volunteer/co-creation invitation!)
A new kind of 4th of July is Under Construction ... one that we co-create together!
Hey Friend, this is not a normal year, and this is not a normal Luma invitation ... because this is for an event that we're inviting you to co-create.
Everything down to the text of this Luma invitation is on an open and editable Google doc that yes, you can edit. Please do. :-) And please join our next planning meeting on Saturday, June 13!

The Invitation to join the National July 4th InterdepenDance Day Online Celebration!
Have plans for July 4th?
Come celebrate the 250 with us!
Join a group of people who also care about where America is on it’s bday.
We’re hosting a series of 30 minute gatherings (and other discussions and activities, open to you to propose) … opportunities to connect, reflect on the last 250, and imagine the next 250, on our nation’s birthday.
We invite people to come join from across the country, representing all communities, all geographies, from all across the political spectrum, to just come together as Americans, meet, connect, share gratitude for what this country has given us, and share what you hope for the future.
And that’s certainly not to say that there aren’t things that need fixing. There certainly are. But on this day, we invite everyone to focus on the positives, and what we might be able to co-create together for a more flourishing future, what we want to see in the America v2.50 that we co-create.
Ways to Get Involved:
Make suggested edits on the shared document (changes will regularly get updated in this Luma invitation; only reviewed for basic values alignment towards improving our collective future) and join the volunteers whatsapp group.
Help promote this to your friends and community! If you're part of an organization, join as a co-host / community partner and add your organization name and logo to the event! (Register to this event to access the form.)
Offer to MC/facilitate a session, or make another offering that we'll add to the program for July 4th. (The whole event will be on one zoom link, and we'll pass the "facilitator/MC/host baton" around to other co-hosts.) (Register to this event to access the form.)
