TOPIC: When AI Writes the Code, Who Secures It?
ABSTRACT: AI coding agents can build features faster than ever, but they can also introduce security vulnerabilities just as quickly. As more code is generated outside traditional development workflows, security teams need new ways to catch issues while code is being written, not after it reaches a pull request or CI. In this hands-on workshop, attendees will work with an intentionally vulnerable application and an AI coding agent to see firsthand how security issues can make their way into AI-generated code. We’ll explore how real-time security feedback can help identify and address vulnerabilities during development, giving developers and security teams a practical approach to building securely in an AI- assisted world.

Milan Williams, Senior Product Manager
Hi! I'm Milan, and I help build security products. I'm a Senior Product Manager at Semgrep, a high-growth cybersecurity startup. I lead the teams responsible for Semgrep Code (SAST) and Secrets detection products. Before Semgrep, I graduated from Harvard University with degrees in Computer Science and Physics. In my free time, you can find me geeking out about the latest in security and developer tooling, running in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, or enjoying local theater.
Jason Kinsfather, Senior Solutions Engineer
