Resilience In This Moment - Thich Nhat Hanh’s Legacy of Interbeing

​Please join us for a special evening with Brother Phap Luu, visiting from Deer Park Monastery, part of the Plum Village community, established by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. 

Brother Phap Luu will be leading a meditation and talking about earth advocacy, wellbeing, and building connection in these times. We will also have a few short "seed talks" from community members and thinkers in this space, Carmiel Banasky, Melody Cooper, and Garrett Allen.

​All proceeds will go to Deer Park Monastery.

Ordained as a monk since 2003, Brother Chân Pháp Lưu (Brother Stream) received Transmission of the Lamp from Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh to teach in 2011. He helped start Wake-Up, the international movement for young people, as well as the Happy Farm, Plum Village’s organic farming community, and has been working with Wake-Up Schools since its inception in 2012 to bring mindfulness to schools. He leads hiking retreats and recently co-authored a book with Brother Phap Xa called Hiking Zen.
