Ipê Closing Ceremony - Demo Day, Sound Temple and Live Chorinho
We spent the last month building Ipê Village, a pop-up city in Florianópolis where builders, founders, and researchers came together to prototype new systems for the future.
Across four themed houses, dozens of workshops, and 23+ speakers at the Startup Societies Conference, hundreds of people from around the world gathered here with a shared belief: the future isn’t something that arrives, it’s something we build.
It was intense. It was meaningful. And it went by fast.
Now we close.
From 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM · AI House
The final day unfolds as one continuous gathering.
We begin with Demo Day:
Moment where builders present what they shipped during the month.
This is where ideas become tangible, where conversations turn into products, systems, and experiences you can actually see.
As the demos come to a close, we shift into a different rhythm.
The Sound Temple Heritage Series brings a special Chorinho session, one of Brazil’s most intimate and expressive musical forms.
Played live and in presence, it opens the space with a distinctly local cultural layer.
Later in the evening...
We gather for a closing moment with Jean Hansen, founder of Ipê City, marking the end of this chapter of Ipê Village.
From there, the energy moves into the dancefloor.
NAOBA takes the space with a carefully curated set focused on atmosphere and flow, blending organic and electronic elements to create a grounded transition from conversation into movement.
The Reality Scientist closes the night
With a high-energy, immersive set, combining music and performance elements to build momentum, release, and bring the final arc of the day to its peak.
And then, we let it land.
No more structure, no more program, just the space, the people, and everything that was created over the past month, now shared in one final moment together.
Thank you for being part of this, truly.
Come as you are.
Bring everything the pop up gave you.
This is our last night at the Ipê Village.
