Films from the Frontlines: Stories that Lead to Climate Action
Presented by NAACP, with support from Climate Power
Join us for an overview of how civil rights and environmental and climate issues intersect for bold storytelling through films. At a time where eco-fatigue and misinformation regarding whether there is a climate crisis is at an all-time high, the NAACP, The Solutions Project, Climate Power, and NRDC's Rewrite the Future use their platform to combat these narratives. Working directly with filmmakers and creatives who come from frontline communities can ensure that innovative solutions are authentically highlighted. Notably, the NAACP launched Climate in Color this year to highlight this intersection more poignantly and model how civil rights organizations can engage in climate storytelling and frameworks to highlight solutions.
