How Enterprises Are Actually Adopting AI: From the Boardroom to Bare Metal

An executive says "we need to be doing AI." A team runs a demo. It looks great in a slide deck. And then the road to a real system inside a real company just... disappears.
This workshop is about what actually fills that gap, told by someone who does it for a living.
Joseph Enochs is Chief AI Officer at Enterprise Vision Technologies, a firm that works with roughly half of the Global 250. His teams take AI systems from executive intent to production inside some of the largest companies in the world. He wrote Video Generation with AI (O'Reilly, 2026) and has a second O'Reilly book on physical AI on the way.
On October 2, Joseph will walk through the full stack of enterprise AI, from business intent and governance all the way down to the agents, data pipelines, infrastructure and GPUs those decisions eventually run on. And critically, the physical systems those agents are starting to touch.
The central idea is what Joseph calls **bounded autonomy**: AI agents that can take real actions on their own, but only inside the policies, permissions, security and governance a company has actually agreed to. It's the difference between a chatbot that answers questions and an agent that files an invoice, updates a customer record, or triggers a workflow. From there, he'll connect the picture to agentic systems, AI infrastructure and physical AI in the order they get built.
