About Event

People are fascinating. This class will be a hands-on crash-course to humanity. We will go around, approach people as a group, and interview them. Through this, we will quickly learn about all sorts of different types of people and communities. We will gain appreciation for our fellow humans, and help contextualize our beliefs about the world.

We will start with macaroons and tea, and then start chatting with people.

  • Session 1 (Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - 7-8pm): Discussion. How much do you think you know about different types of people? Do you understand their behavior? Do you understand how they feel?

  • Session 2 (Saturday, November 11, 2023 - 1:30-3:30pm, Golden Gate Park): Group watching. We will go out as a group and approach people to talk to.

  • Session 3 (Saturday, December 9, 2023 - 1:30-3:30pm): Small group watching. We will break into small groups and approach people to talk to.

  • Session 4 (Saturday, December 23, 2023 - 1:30-3:30pm): TBD
