Chaubaara Focus Session #3
[Note: Free drink included in the registration fee]
Join for a chill session for writing/focused work at the summer patio of a beautiful College St cafe where you, along with a few other people, work on something you have been meaning to write (or polish something you have already written). You can also use the time to do any kind of focused work you would like.
You get an opportunity to receive instant validation/feedback from other trusted people in a similar journey as you (which is totally optional btw, you can spend the three hours writing something and choose to not talk to anyone as well). But the idea is to get over writers block, help each other be accountable, and get some momentum with whatever it is that you would like to work on.
Best,
Ravi
About Chaubaara Pictures
@chaubaarapictures is Ravi Rekhi's home for narrative and commercial productions, but more importantly a platform for people in Toronto to find community over a shared love for cinema and allow a space to facilitate free flowing conversations that can enable collaboration for their next project, a partner to help with auditions or bounce scripts, or simply to find other people to watch movies with!
The word "chaubaara" refers to a room on the topmost floor of a traditional South Asian home providing a space for people to hangout, rest or enjoy the view. It typically has doors in all four directions and that is the ideology behind Chaubaara Pictures- an art platform that stands for openness and inclusivity.
Everyone should be empowered to create the art that they feel strongly about. And Chaubaara Chill Sessions is an experiment to help people get closer to that.
