Join Uhtend and Tony Beys for a Beyblade X Gauntlet Format Tournament in Mumbai!
Beyblade X Gauntlet Format
The Gauntlet Format introduces a unique challenge for all Bladers!
When you are running the gauntlet, you need to face all Bladers and earn as many points as you can whereas your opponents will try to stop you from scoring.
How does the Gauntlet Format work?
Based on the number of registrations, you will be put into a bracket of 5-7 Bladers.
Each Blader registers their deck and its order.
In a Gauntlet Bracket, we randomise the order in which the gauntlet will be run.
Player A will face Player B, Player C, Player D, Player E and so on...
Player A gets to choose their deck order and the side from which they want to launch. This means they are currently running the Gauntlet.
When Player A's gauntlet starts, they will first face player B. Player B can bring any deck they like - it does not necessarily be the deck they have registered for their Gauntlet.
Player A will use Bey1, Bey2 and Bey3. The points they score will be logged during their Gauntlet run; Player B's score is not counted.
Let's say Player A got 2 points with Bey1, and 0 points with Bey2 and Bey 3; this means that they will have 2 points from that match.
They will then face everyone in the gauntlet in the order.
Once Player A's Gauntlet is over, Player B will take over and run the gauntlet, facing A, C, D, E and so on...
After every player has run the Gauntlet in their given bracket, we will tally the points and the top placed player goes through.
Gauntlet Brackets
The number of brackets we have will depend on the number of participants that turn up.
Ideally we will have brackets with 5-7 people each.
Post Gauntlet
For multiple brackets, we will have a winner from each bracket; these bracket winners will then face each other to decide the tournament winner.
Finals
In the finals, we will have a standard deck format with first to seven points taking the win.
