​Motherhood is often spoken about as certainty. A choice. A milestone. A given. But for so many women, it is anything but simple.

​The Maybe Mother is an intimate women’s writing circle for those living inside the questions of motherhood in all its forms. For the women wondering whether motherhood is meant for them. For those trying to become mothers while navigating hope, uncertainty, grief, and waiting. For those whose experience of mothering has expanded their hearts. For those mourning the loss of their own mothers while grappling with what it means to nurture, create, or care in the aftermath of that loss.

​Together, we’ll create a tender, brave space to explore the complexities of mothering—not just as a role, but as a longing, an identity, a question, a grief, and a form of becoming.

​Through guided prompts, reflection, and optional sharing, we’ll write into the places that are often hardest to name: ambivalence, desire, heartbreak, hope, inherited stories, impossible timelines, and the many ways women mother—others, themselves, art, dreams, and futures that may or may not unfold as imagined.

​This is not a space for answers. It’s a space for honesty.
