Not another AI panel. Not another hackathon. Just real builds, real constraints, and the decisions behind them.
How does a roast work?
Each presenter gets 15 minutes to run
What they are building
Their architecture.md
The constraints they are dealing with
Why they chose this stack
The problem they are currently stuck on
The room gets another 15 minutes to dig into the decisions:
Why this package or solution over the alternatives?
What trade-offs were made?
What breaks first?
What could be simplified or improved?
What would you do differently today?
One stack at a time. Three stacks per session.
Just cheeky questions, healthy disagreement, and honest conversations about why things were built the way they were. There’s no single “right” architecture. Come compare approaches, unpack real trade-offs, and sharpen the decisions behind what you build.
