NYC Game Design Future Lab - Celebrating Cohort 001 + Welcoming Cohort 002!
On the evening of October 6th, we are hosting a Demo Day to send off GDFL Cohort 001 and welcome Cohort 002!
The NYC Game Design Future Lab is a games incubator at NYU Tandon, supported by the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Each year we take a cohort of NYC studios and creative technology companies and give them twelve months of space, mentorship and industry access at 370 Jay St.
Demo Day is the one evening where both ends of that year are in the same room. Cohort 001 will show what they’ve built and where they’re taking it: including Made in Brooklyn Games, Munity Games, Remixing Reality and Sapient. Cohort 002, selected this month from a competitive pool of applicants, will be introduced ahead of their start in November.
Expect founders, investors, publishers and the people who make games in New York. Drinks, demos and introductions.
