DevNight#1 - Building with AI in 2026

This is the first edition of DevNight and it’s meant to feel exactly like it sounds: relaxed, informal, and open. On January 29, 2026, we’re getting together at Builders Hub, AFI Cotroceni, with Matei Oprea and Bogdan Iasinovschi guiding the evening.

​This isn’t a stage-and-speakers kind of event. Everyone is invited to speak. There are no demos, no “best practices”, and no claims about the right way to use AI. Instead, we explore the latest developments in AI together - what’s new, what’s confusing, what’s promising, and what’s still not working.

​The entire evening is a structured open conversation: questions, short interventions, shared experiences, and honest discussions about AI and building software today. Think guided Q&A, group chats, and casual conversations, all kept on track so we can actually learn from each other.

​If you’re a developer, product manager, tech lead or just someone passionate about building things who wants to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and make sense of where AI is heading, this is your space. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your opinions - that’s all you really need.
