#LCAW2026 4D Mapping: Reimagining Capital
Description:
Capital is often discussed in terms of money, investment and economic growth. But what forms of capital remain unseen? This experiential online session invites participants to step inside the system that shape how different forms of capital are valued, accumulated and distributed.
Purpose:
4D Mapping is an embodied practice from Social Presencing Theatre (SPT) of the Presencing Institute. It that offers deeper insights into complex systems by making their current reality and emerging future potential more visible. Together, we will explore the dynamics, relationships and assumptions that influence how resources flow through our societies and economies. By helping the system see and sense itself from multiple perspectives, we open up new possibilities for reimagining capital for a regenerative future.
Intended Participants:
This session brings together people from diverse backgrounds and sectors, including community leaders, educators, climate practitioners, funders, investors, systems thinkers, facilitators, researchers, and anyone interested in exploring the emerging future of capital. No prior experience with Social Presencing Theatre (SPT) or Theory U is required.
