​Passing Through is NVRFOUND’s new series of small gatherings with designers, makers and thinkers passing through Bangalore. We pick a subject, find a room and give curiosity an hour.

​For Edition 01, we’re sitting down with Kimya Gandhi and Rob Keller to talk about movie posters and cinematic titles, and how much a film can tell you before anyone says a word.

​We’ll get into typography, vernacular letterforms, cultural references and the tiny decisions behind titles you recognise at a glance. There’s plenty of room for anecdotes, tangents and opinions you may withdraw halfway through explaining.

​We’re keeping it to a small circle, bringing together designers, writers, artists and founders who have something to ask or add. The guest is the reason we gather. The room is where things get interesting.

​You’ll also take home the first Passing Through field guide, a small editioned physical zine collecting references and vernacular letterforms from the evening.
