Love, Peace & Spades: Black College Game Night
We’re hosting our annual Black College Game Night on October 9th at The Nursery Garden—a night to reconnect, compete, and celebrate the excellence of Black students, graduates, fraternities, and sororities from HBCUs and PWIs alike.
Whether you pledged at Hampton University or made your mark at a USC, this is a salute to everyone who pursued higher education while being Black and beautiful doing it. Come wearing your school colors, frat/sorority paraphernalia, band colors, favorite gear—whatever represents where you come from. Be bold, be proud, and bring the spirit, as a surprise prize will be awarded for the most dynamic duo.
Come hungry—Caribbean food from @On_Pointttt food truck will be on-site, with @SouthLAWineClub pouring the classy beverages. Bring friends or make some—it‘s game night!
Play in the Spades tournament (capped at 16 teams) or just kick it over Uno, Dominoes, and classic Black family games with the whole yard.
