July Climate Cafe by Climate Cafe South Brooklyn

​Join us for Climate Cafe South Brooklyn’s July Climate Café in partnership with Force of Nature on Saturday, July 11 from 2-4 PM at the Gerritsen Beach Library. A Climate Café is a welcoming, informal space to talk about climate change, how it impacts our community, and how it makes us feel, no pressure, no debate, just conversation. We’ll have our Climate Café discussion from 2-3 PM, and the event is free and open to all ages, with free hot coffee and tea from Marine Park Coffee.

​From 3-4 PM, we’ll be joined by guest artist Seema Lisa Pandya, a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist, sustainability consultant, and green building educator whose work explores the intersection of sustainability, art, culture, and the built environment. Her creative practice draws from natural forms, South Asian heritage, and reclaimed/non-toxic materials to help audiences connect with environmental themes and natural cycles.
