​Hacker Cottage Weekend

​August 28–31, 2026 | The Norwegian, St-Sauveur, QC

​28 builders. One lakeside chalet. 3 days to ship.

​Hacker Cottage Weekend is an immersive builder retreat hosted by AGI Ventures Canada — the 1,600+ member community behind Canada's first AI Hacker House.

​Bring your laptop, your project, and your ambition. Spend 3 days building alongside some of Canada's best AI builders in a stunning Norwegian-style chalet in the Laurentians.

​This is for builders who want to:

• ​Ship something real by the end of the weekend

• ​Find a high caliber community of builders, founders, and engineers

​What's included:

• ​Catered meals all weekend (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free & halal inclusive)

• ​Overnight accommodation (sleeps 28)

• ​Indoor heated pool, hot tub & sauna

• ​Kayaks, paddle-boards, beach volleyball, hiking trails

• ​High-speed WiFi, 90 chairs & 18 tables for focused work

• ​Welcome BBQ, lightning talks, wellness activities, showcase & closing party

​Weekend flow (taking shape):

• ​Friday: Arrive & settle in, welcome BBQ

• ​Saturday: Build day, wellness activities, lightning talks, dinner

• ​Sunday: Build day, showcase, closing party

• ​Monday: Breakfast, wrap-up, check out by 11am
