About Event

Get ready for an evening of light bites, sips, and mingling as the ALTA program joins us at Onward HQ—America’s first Lithium Technology & Battery Supply Chain accelerator, co‑developed by The Venture Center, Standard Lithium, and the University of Arkansas.

About ALTA:
ALTA brings together Arkansas’s leading lithium producers with best‑in‑class technology startups to drive next‑gen battery innovation—and position the U.S. (and Arkansas!) at the forefront of the energy transition.

About the cohort:
Menen Group - an Arkansas-based water treatment collective, leverages patented MPVD technology to more efficiently concentrate dilute lithium streams from various DLE technologies, cutting energy use by 60%. Partnering with Smackover bromine producers, Menen can also provide a full flowsheet – modular containerized assets with zero CAPEX to process tail brines for lowest-cost battery-grade lithium carbonate production.

Lithios - developing Advanced Lithium Extraction (ALE), a clean, electricity-powered process that extracts lithium from U.S. brines at dramatically lower cost. Created by MIT scientists, ALE offers a scalable, sustainable solution to meet America’s growing demand for lithium and energy independence.

Tyfastcreates diesel-grade batteries that charge in minutes, last over 10,000 cycles, and provide reliable all-weather performance. Using its patented lithium vanadium oxide (LVO) anode, Arkansas-sourced vanadium and U.S.-sourced lithium, Tyfast powers the electrification of the world’s toughest commercial and defense vehicles with a secure, domestic supply chain.
