About Event

The Port of Seattle has a goal to be the greenest and most energy efficient port in North America. Through a wide variety of innovative and cutting-edge initiatives, the Port collaborates with public and private sector partners through its Northwest Ports Clean Air Strategy and its Maritime Clean Air Action Plan to reduce air and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from shipping and port operations.

Come learn how the Port is investing in electrification, alternative maritime fuels, and the development of a first-in-the-world cruise green corridor. You will not only hear about these efforts, but also have the opportunity to view key maritime facilities in the Seattle Harbor from the Port’s Pier 69 headquarters.
