Laura Dillon: Laura Dillon is a Partner at Waterland Private Equity in Dublin and she established the Waterland Ireland office in 2020. Laura has 25 years professional experience, including working in private equity for over 10 years, being an entrepreneur and also a strategy consultant.
Immediately prior to joining Waterland, Laura was a Principal at Riverside Europe Partners in London, UK. Prior to this, Laura co-founded (with her Dad) and was CEO at DSI Distribution Solutions Ireland Ltd, a leading healthcare distribution company in the Irish market.
Laura started her career as a Strategy Consultant with McKinsey & Company and she has also worked for Intelligent Finance (internet bank of HBOS Plc) as their Strategy Manager, WorldRemit as their Chief of Staff and a Senior Associate at Apax Partners.
Laura holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, USA and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland.
In her free time, Laura is a very passionate sailor and enjoys being out on the water.
Michael Carr: Michael is Founder and CEO at Buen Crypto, Ireland and the UKs only dedicated professional services organisation for Blockchain and Digital Assets.
With over 18 years of experience in traditional finance — domestically in Ireland and internationally in senior roles at Bank of America and Deutsche Bank— Michael’s expertise spans payments, treasury systems, compliance, and IT change management. His transition into crypto began in 2018, initially as a trader, then as a builder and advisor. The vision: to build the professional advisory firm he wished existed when he was crossing between traditional and digital finance.

Bryan Dobson: Distinguished Irish journalist, news presenter and broadcaster, renowned for his long-standing career at RTÉ. Bryan stands as a paragon of Irish public-service journalism - combining gravitas, integrity, and a deep commitment to democratic accountability. With a career that spanned nearly 4 decades, his legacy continues in his new role guiding Ireland's commemorative practices.
