Hear more about how LionGuard 2 was built using lightweight, embedding-based architectures that support English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil, and how it achieves state-of-the-art results on both public and local benchmarks without relying on heavyweight LLMs. He will also share how the team optimised for data efficiency, fast retraining, and CPU deployment, making it suitable for real-time production use in government systems. Gabriel Chua is a Data Scientist at GovTech, focusing on MLOps, LLM solutions, and Responsible AI. He co-organizes AI Wednesdays and various community tech events, bringing together AI practitioners across Singapore. Previously a policy analyst at the Ministry of Health working on Healthcare Finance, he holds degrees from LSE (Economics) and MIT (Business Analytics). Outside of tech, you'll find him at pilates, hiking trails, or enjoying craft beer.
Ivan Zhang is Co-founder of Cohere and known as the 'Forward Deployed Founder'. Since co-founding the company in 2019 with Aidan Gomez and Nick Frosst, he has led the development of Cohere's flagship solution, North. Ivan currently spearheads Global Public Sector and Defence engagements, bringing enterprise-grade AI solutions to government and defense organizations.
Chris Campbell leads Cohere's Solution Architecture team in EMEA from London. With a strong background in cybersecurity, he brings valuable expertise from his previous roles at HackerOne and Darktrace to help organizations implement secure, scalable AI solutions.
