​What to Expect

​We all know the drill: the official tutorial makes setting up a search engine look like a five-minute job. But then you push to production, and suddenly your search results make no sense, your logs are unreadable, and your cloud bill is on fire.

​GDG MAD is hosting a meetup specifically for developers and architects dealing with the messy reality of observability and search. We’re going heavy on the Elastic Stack this time around, with just enough Google Cloud thrown in to figure out the best ways to host and connect everything.

​Expect zero slides about "enterprise-grade synergy" or "next-gen paradigms." Instead, we’re looking at how these tools actually behave on prod. We want to talk about fixing broken search relevance, structuring logs so they don't make you want to quit your job, and deploying on GCP without insulting all your agents.
