About Event

Agents are moving into browsers, apps, meetings, dashboards, code editors, and real workflows.

The next generation of agents will need more than text context. They will need to see what is happening, hear what is being said, remember important moments, and act with richer awareness.

That is what this hackathon is about.

VideoDB is the modern backend for video and audio agents. It helps developers capture, index, search, stream, and act on real-time media.

In this 48-hour online hackathon, build an agentic experience that uses VideoDB to give agents perception, memory, and action over screen, audio, video, or live streams.

All participants would get enough credits to build their usecases. We'll share a link before the hackathon for you to receive the credits.
Meanwhile you are free to explore VideoDB with $20 free credits. No credit card required.

Hackathon closes: May 18, 2026 — 10:00 AM IST

🛠 What to Build

Build anything that shows what becomes possible when agents have eyes and ears.

Your project should use VideoDB’s agentic stack to capture, understand, search, or act on video and audio context. Link to docs : https://docs.videodb.io

At minimum, your submission should use:

CaptureSession / RTStream
Capture screen, audio, camera, or agent activity during a live session.

Search / Memory / Context
Convert it to context, search what the agent saw, heard, or experienced in real time.

Beyond that, the direction is open.

Inspiration

You can build in any direction. A few examples to prime your brain:

  1. Second brain
Capture your day and let an agent answer questions like, “Where did I see that chart?” or “What was I working on before the call?”

  2. Computer use with perception
Give coding and computer use agents access to your screen, voice, and dev context so they can help with what you are actually doing, frontend, QA.

  3. Agentic streams
Build agents that research, gather media, create personalized video briefings, and stream the result.

  4. Meeting or workflow memory
Capture meetings, browser sessions, or product workflows and turn them into searchable context for agents.

  5. Media-aware copilots
Build agents that can operate over videos, live streams, tutorials, lectures, demos, or surveillance feeds.

What We’re Looking For
Winning projects will show:

  1. A clear agentic use case

  2. Meaningful use of VideoDB SDK capture, indexing, search, or streaming

  3. A simple and useful experience

  4. A strong demo

  5. Creative use of perception and memory
