​BitVM2: Bridging Bitcoin to Second Layers

Moving BTC to a second layer usually means trusting a majority of a bridge's operators. This talk presents BitVM2, the first light-client-based Bitcoin bridge. Its security requires only one honest participant during setup, and any user can challenge an invalid claim. A full challenge has already been verified on Bitcoin mainnet. Read the paper
