​𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲’𝘀 October 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘! And as always, they are 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘! 🚀

​This evening introduces the most severe threats posed to space systems on which we all rely. Threats impacting space assets can cascade globally. Russia's ViaSat attack launched as they invaded Ukraine in 2022 degraded their communications and highlights the potential consequences. 🛰️💥

​Academic research has unveiled critical vulnerabilities in space systems, including unencrypted space data and the ability to hack Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. AI intensifies these risks. ⚡

​We will explore mitigation strategies, including the vital importance of collaboration to help secure space. 🛡️🤝
