Beyond the Deck: What actually earns an investor’s belief in a founder?
What makes an investor truly believe in a founder, especially before all the proof points are obvious?
Join us for a fireside chat with Shawn Hill, Managing Partner at Garden State Venture Partners and former Partner at Moderne Ventures, and Malak Atut, a healthcare executive, investor, educator, and entrepreneur who teaches entrepreneurial communication at The Wharton School.
Together, they’ll explore what investors notice beyond the slides: founder judgment, credibility, clarity, resilience, and the signals that create real conviction.
This conversation is especially relevant for founders building across borders, navigating nontraditional paths, and raising in ecosystems where storytelling, trust, and execution matter as much as traction.
