In the Heat of Becoming Opening Reception

​In the Heat of Becoming brings together twenty artists whose practices explore transformation, emergence, and the unstable space between states. Through painting, sculpture, drawing, and mixed media, the works in this exhibition trace moments of tension, growth, and metamorphosis — where form is not fixed but actively unfolding.

​Across the exhibition, surfaces shift, dissolve, and reassemble. Gesture, color, and material become tools for navigating change: emotional, physical, and atmospheric. Some works evoke landscapes in flux; others move through abstraction, memory, and the body. Together they create a visual field where identity and form remains in motion.
