From Pine Labs Online, co-powered by AWS, Playground is a one-day, in-person hackathon where teams build and demo a working prototype by the end of the day. With AI, of course.
AI agents go rogue all the time. They overstep permissions, take actions no one approved, and leave no trail behind. So, we built a protocol to prevent exactly that.
We're exploring how AI agents can securely act on behalf of humans with delegated authorization, verifiable identity, scoped permissions, and auditable actions. Think OAuth 2.0 but built for autonomous agents.
This is a curated, invite-only hackathon.
To confirm participation, selected applicants will be asked to submit a short idea of what they plan to build within the theme.
Teams & participation
We encourage you to register as a team — grab your best builders and sign up together. Don't have a team yet? No worries. Solo registrants will be grouped into teams on the day of the event, so you'll never hack alone.

Mid-to-senior developers working on payments, fintech, and digital commerce infrastructure, as well as engineers building with AI including those developing agentic systems, LLM-powered applications, or autonomous workflows.
