Book Launch: Jennifer Weiss-Wolf, When in Menopause: A User's Manual & Citizen's Guide
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24 • 3:00 P.M. • JERSEY CITY
Some conversations inform us.
Some conversations connect us.
And some conversations change what women are willing to accept.
This October, Jersey City will welcome Jennifer Weiss-Wolf, attorney, author, policy strategist and one of the country’s leading voices on menstrual equity and menopause, for a special book launch and fireside conversation celebrating her new book, When in Menopause: A User’s Manual & Citizen’s Guide.
Eiko La Boria’s work is also featured in When in Menopause, connecting her years of menstrual-equity advocacy and policy work in New Jersey to the broader conversation about how women’s health needs are recognized, funded, and built into public life. Her story helps ground the book’s larger argument in what change looks like when advocacy moves from lived experience to policy and infrastructure.
On Saturday, October 24 at 3:00 p.m., Jennifer joins Eiko La Boria, Founder & CEO of The Flow Initiative, for a conversation about what comes next: menopause, menstrual equity, health, policy, dignity—and what becomes possible when women refuse to accept that the systems around us were simply not designed with our lives in mind.
