​❤️ Who we are
The Backyard Film Club (TBFC) is a community-based film club for people who love movies and want to share this passion with others.

​All levels of interest are welcome, whether you watch everything in cinemas or have a handful of films that mean something to you.

​🎬 What Film Circle is
Have a film you've been wanting to talk about? Film Circle is our monthly meetup where you get to share something insightful, reflective, or thought-provoking about it with a small group!

​💭 How to prepare

• ​Which film are you introducing? (no major spoilers!)

• ​What made you pick this one?

• ​What's a moment or scene that stood out to you?

• ​What did it leave you thinking about?

• ​What's something about it you'd want to ask the group?

​(about 5–10 minutes per person; you are highly encouraged to prepare beforehand)

​✏️ What to bring

• ​A clip or scene of your film, if you would like to show one

• ​A pen; you'll need it for some card writing during the session!

• ​Markers (optional), if you'd like to add some colour to your card
