Samhain / Halloween Silent Walk & Ecstatic Dance with Headsets at Ohlsdorf Cemetery
Step into the mystery of Samhain , when the veil between life and death, light and shadow, grows thin.
We will gather in the golden stillness of Ohlsdorf Cemetery, where autumn leaves whisper of change. Each participant will wear a headset, through which my voice will gently guide you on a silent walking meditation. In this shared yet private soundscape, you will move in silence while receiving stories, myths, and reflections only you can hear.
Along the way, my recorded voice will weave together the history of Friedhof Ohlsdorf, the mythological roots of Samhain and Halloween, and insights on how this season’s symbolism resonates in our own lives.
🥀 We will pause at a hidden spot for journaling and self-reflection.
🥀 At another secret place, we will turn to oracle cards and let our bodies speak through a short session of ecstatic dance.
🥀 The entire journey will unfold in silence, held by the cemetery’s atmosphere and the intimacy of the headset experience.
Afterwards, we will leave the gates of Ohlsdorf and gather in a nearby cozy café. There, the silence will give way to connection, as we share our experiences over a warm drink and maybe cake.
Note: In case of heavy rain, the event will be postponed to Sunday, November 2nd. Hopefully the weather will be kind, but if a change is needed, I’ll contact you by email.

The cemetery journey is free.
This does not include what you will buy for yourself at the cafe.
· What to bring?
Layered and comfortable attire, sturdy weather-proof walking shoes, a notebook, and a pen.
IMPORTANT : bring your own headset and pre-download the guided journey (the audio-track will be provided the day before).
· Whom is this for?
Women and femmes (including cis women, trans women, non-binary people in femme bodies, and intersex people who identify as women) of every ethnicity, cultural background, and body type.
The gathering will be held in English.

No previous experience is needed, you just need the willingness to celebrate together.
