​Join us for the first session of The Disagreement Lab, a new series from the Council on Technology and Social Cohesion.

​We'll be joined by Neil Sogard, Founder of Civil Disco. Civil Disco lets you debate an AI character, get coaching on how you engage, and then connect with a real person who sees the issue differently.

​Together, we'll try it ourselves and ask a bigger question: can AI-assisted practice actually strengthen the human skills we need for healthier disagreement?

The Disagreement Lab is a series of live, hands-on sessions testing emerging AI tools designed to help people navigate difference more constructively. Instead of another presentation about what a tool is supposed to do, you'll use it yourself, experience the interaction, and then reflect with others on what changed — and what didn't.
