Opening Reception: Summer Exhibitions

​Meet the artists at the opening of Uprise Art's summer exhibitions, Dan Covert's solo show and a group exhibition featuring new work by Blake Aaseby, J.C. Fontanive, Paola Rodriguez Arias, and William Storms. Refreshments will be served.

​About the Exhibitions:

​Texts, Quotations, Set Pieces – Dan Covert’s sophomore solo exhibition with the gallery furthers his exploration with sculptural forms and texture, using it to build impasto, topographic, and gestural surfaces that contrast with his precisely CNC-milled, wall-based geometric forms. These works foreground the human hand and moments of chance imperfection within his otherwise tightly controlled practice. More information

​Surface Conditions – An exhibition of new work by Blake Aaseby, J.C. Fontanive, Paola Rodriguez Arias and William Storms, engaging materiality through surfaces that shift between the tangible and the illusory. More information

​Both exhibitions are available to view at Uprise Art Monday–Friday, 12-6pm until July 31, 2026.
