oona is preparing to flow northward for a few years, to study / play / load up the liberatory toy box that's been breathing life into our communities with PLAYGRND experience. in gratitude to the beings and places that have shaped and swooned them over the last 7 years in the bay, they want to gift back some of the music that's been inspired by this time - from boohoo to thank you 🙃
of the myriad songs that reflect this magical place, the selection of songs shared at fairy wells are specifically ones that have been caught by/with waterways. hum and move to these songs - as an act of resistance to all the carceral technologies that try to stagnate our inner and outer waterways, and as a prayer for the protection and free flow of life.
featuring an indigo dyed textile series by ayo balogun, sprung up from their devotional practice of attention to the daylighted and culverted portions of a creek near their house. other surprises abound. (wanna get in the mix? send us a message!)

we'll be receiving donations to support the band, a live studio recording session that'll happen the following week, and additional funds to support with oona's transition to canada! feel free to also bring an instrument, a prop, a snack to share, perhaps even an offering for the RAFFLE 👀, and more than anything - your goofy selves.
