About Event
Opening Up The Outdoors is proud to present Belonging Without Barriers – Recognising and addressing racism and discrimination in Germany's outdoors, published with our research partner CLOUT Ltd.
This first-of-its-kind research highlights the lived experiences of People of Colour in Germany’s outdoor spaces. Drawing on insights from 213 POC participants, 100 white comparators, and 22 changemakers, it uncovers how both subtle and overt racial prejudice limits access to nature — and what must change to create truly inclusive outdoor spaces.
Join our webinar to hear all about the research and to join reflection and discussion on this important topic.
