🌳 Papers in the Park S2E16 *SEASON FINALE*
This is our 30th session and the last one for this summer 😔. We started S2 with DFlash and will be covering DFlash2 to wrap up S2.
Inference speed is everything these days. We will be covering how DFlash2 takes speculative decoding to the next level and resulted in a 15x improved throughput.

remember to hydrate and bring water :)
The goal? Simple. Meet up at the park, yap about a paper for a few minutes. We discuss and enjoy the summer weather.
Low stakes, come by and stay for as long as you'd like. We will have some printed out copies of the paper if you'd like to follow along. Feel free to print your own!
We welcome community presenters! If you found an interesting paper that you want to talk about, let us know and we will give you time to present.
FAQs:
What if it rains?
We will cancel the event if it rains.
Do we need to read the paper before the event?
We encourage you to skim over the paper before coming but it's okay if you don't!
Where are you???
43°38'48.0"N 79°24'49.7"W usually
We are usually West of the tennis courts.
There's a circular path in Trinity Bellwoods called Trinity Cr that is split in half by a straight path. We are usually in the top half of the circle.
If you are entering from the SE end of the park, just follow the straight path and we should be on the right at some point
We don't have a banner or anything, but look for striped blue tablecloth! We are a small-ish group (<30) of people sitting around a few picnic tables
