Seapoint x Dogpatch Labs: How to Run a Tight Fundraising Process

​In this session, we welcome the Founder and CEO of Seapoint, Sean Mullaney, to get the inside scoop on running a tight fundraising process at the pre-seed and seed stage.

​Few in Ireland are better positioned to talk about fundraising than Sean. Having founded multiple startups in the first act of his career, he moved into senior leadership roles at some of the biggest names in tech, as VP of Engineering at Zalando, European CIO of Stripe, and then CTO of Algolia. However, the pull to build something new was too strong, and having started Seapoint, Sean led them through a a €2.5m pre-seed raise in late 2025 before closing a seed round of a €7.5m in April 2026.

​This session features nuggets of wisdom from Sean's experience leading multiple raises over his career, showing founders what they need to consider before, during, and after the fundraising process. It will be a highly interactive session with plenty of Q&A, so make sure you come armed with questions!
