INTO THE BLUEPOP-UP EXHIBITION AT LAP COFFEE
On May 20, LAP Coffee once again transforms into a temporary exhibition space between art, music and atmosphere.
The pop-up exhibition INTO THE BLUE presents works by Franziska Katharina Röhrs and Albrecht Doering together with Pollaks Art, accompanied by DJ-sets by Royf & SAF10.
At the centre of the exhibition are different dimensions of blue — as memory, distance, projection and emotional space. The works move between material presence and fragmentation, between intuitive traces and deliberate composition.
Franziska Katharina Röhrs explores the traces people leave behind on both physical and psychological levels. In her work, blue repeatedly appears as a colour connected to distance, memory and imagination.
Albrecht Doering’s works move between abstraction, atmosphere and material presence, creating emotional spaces between reduction and intensity.
There will also be a small giveaway:During the last activated exhibition from Franziska at LAP Coffee, collective blue traces were created on transparent organza. Two small canvases made from these traces can be won during the evening. More information over Franziskas Instagram.
