Speakers Clementina Martínez-Masarweh and Sandra Hanns set the stage, introducing their work in film, fashion, media and sustainability. Sandra speaks about AI and sustainability in the new technological era — their special acknowledgment of Hispanic Heritage Month and the power of Latina leadership in climate storytelling.

Upcyclers: Fashion’s Climate Frontliners (7 min) – the first film in the world on the upcycling movement, spotlighting frontliners reimagining waste as resource.
Ropa Nunca Muere (7 min) – a poignant look at the afterlife of clothing in our culture, blending heritage and environmental urgency.
Cyborg Human (1 min teaser) – a haunting dystopian glimpse into the future of microplastics and human health.

Clementina and Sandra lead an inspiring bilingual conversation that ties together the themes of the films — upcycling, microplastics, heritage, and sustainability — while highlighting Latina voices and cultural storytelling. Audience Q&A opens space for reflection and dialogue.
