Imagine spreading jam on your morning toast with a pastel-colored knife you made yourself! 🍞 Or mixing your morning matcha with a glass stir stick designed to match your favorite mug! ️☕️
Fused glass is a unique medium where layers of colorful glass are arranged, decorated, and then fired in a kiln until they melt together into one beautiful, polished piece to take home. Your finished piece will be 100% food safe and ready to use in the kitchen!

Learn the basics of fused glass
Cut and shape glass to design your own functional cutlery
Play with glass powders, stringers, and frit to add pattern and texture
Create vibrant pieces that are both beautiful and practical
Whether you’re a total beginner or simply looking for a creative seasonal experience, this workshop is a fun and approachable way to explore glass art — and leave with something you’ll actually use.
All materials, tools, and kiln firing are included. Your finished dish will be ready for pick-up or shipping 1–2 weeks after the workshop.
🧰 About the Studio
As a specialty art studio, we take safety seriously. For this event, we have dedicated workstations for cutting glass and you’ll be guided every step of the way by a glass art instructor. (You’re welcome to review our general safety guidelines on our website.)
This workshop requires a signed safety waiver. We’ll send it to registered attendees a few days before class.
