Running a DappNode - Public Good Staking [102]
Welcome to Public Goods Staking Workshop #2, where we move from theory to practice. In the first session, we explored why validator infrastructure is a powerful public good. This time, we go hands-on with the tools that make it real: DappNode, the Obol DVT package, and the path toward Lido’s Community Staking Module (CSM).
We’ll walk through how to set up a DappNode box, install and configure the Obol package, and understand what’s needed for your squad to eventually register as a Lido CSM operator. Along the way, we’ll also tour the wider DappNode ecosystem from IPFS support to additional staking modules so you can see how a single node can serve as a multi-purpose hub for your community.
This workshop is designed for squads and regen builders who want to run real infrastructure, not just talk about it: turning laptops and hardware into regenerative engines that secure networks and fund public goods.
