Letting the Doughnut Rise in San Francisco!
Join the growing San Francisco Doughnut Economics community at Trellis Coworking Space in San Francisco for an open, welcoming, by-donation gathering to explore the Doughnut.
This interactive event will introduce the Doughnut Economics framework —what it is, where it came from, and why it matters—followed by plenty of time for questions and collective sense-making.
Together, we’ll explore how this framework can inform the next step: Completing a Doughnut Economics portrait for San Francisco that reflects our city’s unique social and ecological realities.
We’ll share a potluck meal, mix and mingle with fellow organizers, practitioners, and curious neighbors, and break into working groups for those interested in helping grow the Doughnut Economics movement in San Francisco—whether through research, storytelling, policy, community engagement, disaster resilience planning, or creative action.
No prior knowledge required—just curiosity, care for people and planet, and a dish to share if you can.
By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of SF Climate Week.
