The DeFi Report Dublin: Inaugural Meetup
About
The DeFi Report is coming to Dublin for its very first meetup — a space for people who want to go a level deeper. We’ll be unpacking recent editions of The DeFi Report in person, exploring what the data actually signals, and discussing where the market is heading as we move into the next phase of web3.
We’ll also be putting a spotlight on Convergence — the steady merging of traditional finance and decentralized finance. In simple terms: it’s where the scale and trust of traditional financial systems meets the transparency and programmability of crypto. Less “old vs. new”; more: they’re starting to work together.
This will be a small, conversation-led gathering — the emphasis is on clarity, shared learning, and real relationships. Chatham House Rules will apply so discussion can flow freely.
Who Should Attend
This meetup is for people working at the intersection of markets, infrastructure, and new financial rails — or those who simply want to understand what’s happening beneath the headlines.
Most web3.0 teams are distributed across five time zones and three messaging platforms. So consider this a rare moment to actually converge. I understand this might be hard to attend if you are living outside Dublin but I will look join attendees remotely for the next Meetup.
