Alessa has tracked regenerative projects all around the world and has never seen anything as unique as what is happening in Bhutan. She and her delegation have been in meetings with the King of Bhutan receiving what his vision is for building a new mindfulness city and regenerative villages where technology meets tradition. She’s excited to see projects with this scale of inclusion, regeneration, technological progression and also has such sovereign support. In the regenerative village project, she met with the region’s Governor in their sacred fortress and with a world-leading expert in creating tokenized economies to serve entire village ecosystems, who has done this for dozens of villages in Africa and Brazil and has found that there is no other place on Earth that has this kind of high level government support. She has seen the plans of the mindfulness city and how they are bringing about this new paradigm. We are thrilled that she will be bringing to us a concrete mix of stories about the incredible lighthouse projects that are forming in Bhutan.
About Alessa:
Alessa’s thought leadership sits at the intersection of positive impact and emerging technologies. Founder and CEO of Top Tier Impact (TTI), the global ecosystem of impact investors, LPs, entrepreneurs, professionals and public figures across more than 50 countries. TTI runs weekly impact investment events across its 30+ city chapters and during gatherings such as the World Economic Forum and COP. Born in Switzerland and is fluent in 6 languages, Alessa created her first business at 11 years old and started focusing on neuroscience in high school. During her studies at Oxford University, she also immersed herself in technology and entrepreneurship. Early in her career, Alessa worked in M&A at Goldman Sachs, private equity at Blackstone and venture capital at Mosaic Ventures. As a public voice of the impact movement, Alessa was approached to host the first TV series about impact entrepreneurship. “Road to Utopia” is now available to watch on Prime Video US and on Gaia.
