eChai New York Startup Mixer

eChai New York is hosting a Startup Mixer on Thursday, 12 November, from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm EST at Mr. Purple, the 15th-floor bar and terraces at 180 Orchard St on the Lower East Side. Aditya Mistry, who leads eChai in New York, is hosting.
A mixer is the simplest of eChai's gatherings: an evening of founders meeting founders. It opens with quick introductions, so everyone knows who is around and what they are building before the conversations begin, and the rest of the evening is those conversations.
The group is kept small on purpose, so the conversations stay real. It usually brings together founders at different stages, people thinking about starting up, folks from VC firms, and corporate professionals exploring the startup ecosystem.
eChai New York has met through 2026, most recently at Magic Hour Rooftop in August. This is its first Startup Mixer.
Free to attend and open to all. It is on a pay-for-what-you-order basis: you order and pay for your own food and drinks at the bar.
