Zurich AI Week: Executive Dinner
An unofficial side event of the Zurich AI Festival and Swiss AI Weeks
This curated dinner brings together a small interdisciplinary group to explore one of the most consequential leadership questions of our time. It also speaks directly to this year's festival theme, Trusted Intelligence: what would it take for us to trust AI with executive authority?
Using the possibility of an agent CEO as our concrete case, we will examine:
Should the development of AI be paced and more strongly regulated, or can market forces provide sufficient safeguards?
What authority and agency are we prepared to delegate to AI, and who remains accountable for its decisions?
What role should AI play in society, and how do we build a world where it serves humankind, not the other way around?
What to Expect
An open inquiry, not a panel: No stage and no predetermined position. We are not here confirm a predetermined position or to force consensus. We want to surface informed perspectives, meaningful disagreements, governance principles and questions that need deeper investigation.
A small, curated table: An interdisciplinary group, kept small so every voice is heard.
A guided conversation: The dinner is facilitated around the agent CEO case and moves from opportunities to risks to open questions.
