Steadvast with John

​This is an RPGFest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Hyde Park. Come prepared to roleplay!

​Steadvast is an in-development retro eco-sci-fi adventure RPG being designed by this session's GM. Player characters are members of a "skeleton crew" fighting to maintain the precarious ecological balance within a planet-sized spaceship.

​This adventure, "Hunting Ground of the Hypno-Panther" finds the crew on the search for an unexplained power fluctuation within an abandoned monument. Can they fix the engineering problem while avoiding the claws of an unnatural predator? More importantly, is the crew ready to make a hard choice that could make life aboard the ship much better--or worse?!

​This new game is derived from the Panic Engine as seen in Mothership RPG and Cloud Empress. This session will be a playtest of an early version of the game and the adventure. So, if you're interested in playing a not-yet-released sci-fi game, and perhaps giving your feedback and helping to shape the game's development, come give Steadvast a try!
