​🧠 Agent Harnesses Overview

​We’ll start with an overview of Agent Harnesses and frameworks like Hermes Agent, including how modern AI agents can interact with tools, workflows, memory, and external systems.

​This portion will run from 11:15 AM - 11:45 AM and is designed to be beginner-friendly while also useful for more advanced builders.

​After the overview, we’ll do quick introductions where everyone can briefly share:

• ​what they’re working on

• ​what AI trends/tools they’re excited about

​🤝 Open Co-Working + Networking

​Then we’ll move into open co-working, discussions, networking, and idea sharing.

​🔥 Optional Demos + Showcases

​At the end, anyone who wants can give a short informal demo/showcase of what they worked on during the meetup (optional, no pressure!)

​It will be a great event to connect, build, and share ideas around AI 🚀

​About the Facilitator

​👨‍🏫 Dr. Issam Laradji is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia and a Research Scientist at ServiceNow, where he leads the Predictive & Insights Agents (PIA) team 🚀🤖

​His research focuses on AI Agentic Systems 🧠⚡ that can reason over structured and unstructured data to help support decision-making in complex real-world environments 🌍🏢
