Venture Dock Casino Night: The November Edition
Thursday, November 12
5:30 PM – 8:00 PM PT
Venture Dock | Palo Alto
When we closed out SF Tech Week with a poker night, we knew it wouldn’t be the last one. The room filled up, the final table ran long, and people were still talking by the door well after the last hand. By any measure it was a total success, and we’ve been looking forward to bringing it back ever since.
The November Night is that next game. It’s the same setup that made the first one work: a small room of founders and investors, a few hours with the phones put away, and a game that tells you more about someone than a pitch deck ever will. Seats are limited and RSVPs are subject to approval.
The Format
Arrival & Drinks – The bar opens at 5:30. Grab a drink, say hello, and find your seat before the first deal.
Poker – Professionally dealt tables with chips provided. Food will be out the whole night, so nobody has to sit out a hand to eat.
Final Table – We wrap with a final table and one last round together before everyone heads home.
Who Should Come
Founders who are building and investors who like meeting them somewhere other than a conference room. If you were at the Tech Week game, you already know how it goes. If you missed it, this is your chance to get a seat.
What is Venture Dock
Venture Dock is a founder-first community and fund based in Palo Alto and Milpitas. We give founders access to resources and relationships that would normally take years to build on their own: expert 1:1s every week, investor sessions every month, and a Master Session where operators who’ve actually built and sold companies talk about what that was really like.
When it’s time to raise, our Funding Labs walk you through it with investors in the room, and our Demo Days put you in front of our network once you have traction to show. None of it works without the 200+ founders in the community, people who will tell you what’s working and what isn’t before you find out the hard way.
Become Part of the Venture Dock Community
If you’re building something and want a community that actually shows up for you, we’d love to have you.
